We are seeking an experienced Property Project Manager to fulfil a 9 to 12 month contract with our client, overseeing the installation and maintenance of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure across a large property estate. The ideal candidate will have a background in property or asset management, within a commercial environment, with experience of managing EV Charging Infrastructure, as well as other AdHoc Property projects within a portfolio, such as lease signing / resigning, managing refurbishment and upgrade works, setting up and negotiating contracts with contractors and subcontractors, to ensure the timely delivery of projects.

The position will include evaluating the current property portfolio and property assets, to understand total capacity limits, maximising usage of properties & available space, ensuring that vacant properties are utilized. You will be responsible for managing the programme of works, ensuring that work is carried out safety, promptly and efficiently, rectifying any faults swiftly. You will also be instrumental in setting up and negotiating contracts with suppliers, attending stakeholder meetings, and providing updates to the project.

A strong appreciation for commercial estates and an understanding of commercial property are key.

Daily duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Project management of EV charging infrastructure, as well as other property portfolio projects.
  • Contract negotiation and subcontractor management.
  • Being accountable for the day-to-day management of residential and telecoms estate
  • Responsible for elements of our commercial estate, alongside the Principal Property Manager.
  • Developing strategies to maximize rental income and efficient use of resources, managing third-party requests for land interests/rights, and safeguarding business land interests and rights across the operational estate.
  • Fault resolution and maintenance.
  • Time management and deadline adherence.
  • Programme management and progress update.
  • Overall management or Health and Safety.
  • Stakeholder and client relationship management.
  • Team leadership and coordination, Problem-solving and decision-making.

Applicable candidates will have:

  • Experience managing EV Charging contracts, including installation & maintenance of charging points, as well as managing other projects within a property environment, such as estate refurbishment works.
  • A relevant qualification, such as a degree in Property Management
  • Chartership certification or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Proven Project Management ability, able to setup, negotiate and deliver projects and contracts.
  • Worked in a similar sector such as Infrastructure / Construction / Telecoms / Commercial / Residential
  • Experience managing a public or private sector organisation s land interests and rights
  • Experience in budget management, including forecasting of spend and income,
  • Experience in risk management, managing work through supply chains.
  • Some experience or awareness of wayleaves/easements is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, able to provide progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of commercial estates or asset management, with a background property management.
  • A qualification in property management is preferred but not essential (I.E PMP / PRINCE2).
