Job Description

Job Title : Planner \\nLocation: Peterborough \\nSalary: Β£39-56k + Package \\nSector : Water \\n \\nAs our new Planner, you'll take ownership of the project plan, drive the project team to deliver to the plan and challenge any delay and deviation. Leading, coaching and guiding a small team of more junior Planners, you'll be viewed as an approachable Planning expert who is keen to pass on experience and knowledge to develop others and drive outperformance amongst the team. \\n \\nKey responsibilities: \\n \\nCollaboratively develop and maintain robust detailed project plans for the Delivery Team in accordance with requirements ensuring methodology is consistently followed \\n \\nEnsure project plans capture the full project scope and resources are considered and loaded as required \\n \\nPro-actively identify opportunities and risks in the plan and monitor the critical path and key milestones, advising the delivery team on any potential changes \\n \\nDevelop 4D animations of the project plan to aid digital rehearsal of the project construction.

\\n \\nDesign and implement effective and value- added communication plans ensuring relevant teams and individuals are clear and buy into the strategy and approach \\n \\nEnsure planning standards are maintained across framework and published processes are adhered to. \\n \\nAppreciate and uphold the Health & Safety standards in all planning processes with the mantra of 'Nothing is so important that we cannot take the time to do it safely' at the heart of all activities \\n \\nbout The Candidate: \\nSkills/Experience \\nTo be considered for this role, you'll have demonstrable experience of working on relevant projects within the Civil engineering sector, preferably in the Water Industry. To succeed in this role, you'll require P6experience.

With experience of leading collaborative planning processes, you'll have the ability to interrogate / take information from drawings to implement efficient planning service to the business. \\n \\nYour ability to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences whilst working in a pressurised situations to tight deadlines will be crucial. Able to adapt as required to meet project objectives, you'll be innovative and supportive to other member of the teams to enhance the reputation of the Planning team amongst the business.
