Mechanical Fitter (MEICA / Water Industry)

We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a growing team delivering works across the Environment Agency MEICA Framework.
Working across various sites throughout the North West, youll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, installation, refurbishment and fault-finding on a range of mechanical assets including pumps, gearboxes, penstocks, sluice gates, valves and pipework.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering/Maintenance or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Fitter
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- CSCS card or relevant industry certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Water industry experience
- Confined Space Training
- IPAF/MEWP
- Slinging & Signalling
- PASMA
