My client is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to maintain and service multiple buildings across the London area. The role involves the delivery of preventative maintenance on pumping systems and associated mechanical equipment, as well as attending to reactive and corrective maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for fault finding, investigating mechanical faults, and recording findings where necessary. The role also includes carrying out repairs, replacements, and calibration of equipment and pumps, and providing technical support to operational staff to resolve complex mechanical issues. This role is paying circa 46k.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance on pumping systems and mechanical equipment
- Respond to and resolve reactive and corrective maintenance issues
- Conduct fault diagnosis and investigations, documenting findings accurately
- Perform repairs, replacements, and calibration of pumps and mechanical equipment
- Support operational teams with complex problem resolution
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies
Skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
