Our Client, a leading contractor in the Heritage and Restoration sector, is looking for a driven and dynamic Estimator to join its team based in Central London. Ideally, we are looking for an Estimator with experience in the heritage sector, with 5 years and upwards experience in relevant construction sectors (All levels considered).
Key Responsibilities
- Tender Management: Review and analysis of tender information to fully understand project requirements.
- Costing: In-house trades, accounting for labour, plant, and materials.
- Supply Chain: Prepare and send out enquiries to obtain competitive quotes.
- Stakeholder Consultation: Meet with clients, surveyors, and architects on site.
- Programming: Prepare tender stage programmes of works using relevant software.
- Post-Tender: Follow up on submitted tenders and manage the handover of secured projects to the contracts team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: A construction-related degree is preferred. However, an HNC/HND combined with strong industry experience will be considered.
- Certification: A valid CSCS Card is required.
- Specialist Software: Experience with Causeway Estimating software and Bluebeam Take-off is desirable but not essential.
