We are seeking a qualified Electrical Tester to join one of our premier clients, an established electrical contracting business operating across the greater London region on commercial projects. This permanent role offers a £60,000 per annum salary plus benefits, with a standard 40-hour week, Monday to Friday. The role is available from November 2025 onwards following successful interview.
The successful candidate will be a qualified supervisor, responsible for completing testing and write-ups using our NIC software. You will manage small works and minor project management tasks, conduct site surveys, and prepare validation reports for upcoming projects. This client-facing role requires attendance at witness meetings with consultants and a strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete electrical testing and produce detailed reports using NIC software
- Supervise and manage small-scale electrical works and projects
- Conduct site surveys and inspections
- Prepare and write validation reports for upcoming projects
- Liaise directly with clients and attend meetings with consultants as a witness
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards and safety regulations
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
- City & Guilds 2391 qualification (mandatory)
- Qualified supervisor with experience in electrical testing and inspection
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations
- Ability to manage small works and minor project management
- Experience in site surveys and report writing
- Client-facing skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in using NIC software for testing and reporting
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- NIC testing and reporting software (company tablet provided)

- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) – essential
- ECS card
- Knowledge of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations (desirable)
