We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established social housing contractor for an experienced Window Fitter / UPVC Installer with all-round joinery and general trades knowledge. This role involves working in occupied social housing properties, delivering high-quality installations and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Install and repair UPVC, aluminium, and timber windows
  • Glazing works including double-glazed unit replacement
  • Remove existing frames and make good internally and externally
  • Carry out basic joinery and multi-trade making-good works
  • Work safely, compliantly, and tidily in occupied homes
  • Communicate professionally with tenants
  • Complete job sheets and compliance paperwork

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a window fitter / UPVC installer
  • Strong all-round joinery and trades knowledge
  • Experience in social housing
  • CSCS Card and Full UK Driving Licence
  • Good customer service and H&S awareness

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 2/3 (Fenestration, Glazing, or Joinery)
  • Housing association or council experience
  • Asbestos Awareness / Working at Height
