We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established social housing contractor for an experienced Window Fitter / UPVC Installer with all-round joinery and general trades knowledge. This role involves working in occupied social housing properties, delivering high-quality installations and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair UPVC, aluminium, and timber windows
- Glazing works including double-glazed unit replacement
- Remove existing frames and make good internally and externally
- Carry out basic joinery and multi-trade making-good works
- Work safely, compliantly, and tidily in occupied homes
- Communicate professionally with tenants
- Complete job sheets and compliance paperwork
Requirements
- Proven experience as a window fitter / UPVC installer
- Strong all-round joinery and trades knowledge
- Experience in social housing
- CSCS Card and Full UK Driving Licence
- Good customer service and H&S awareness
Desirable
- NVQ Level 2/3 (Fenestration, Glazing, or Joinery)
- Housing association or council experience
- Asbestos Awareness / Working at Height
