We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable and long-established contractor delivering repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works within the social housing sector. Due to continued growth and new contract awards, they are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner with strong kitchen fitting experience to join their team on a permanent basis.
You’ll be working on occupied and void social housing properties, carrying out high-quality kitchen installations and associated joinery works.
Key Responsibilities- Installing complete kitchen units, worktops, pelmets, plinths, and trims
- Undertaking 1st and 2nd fix joinery
- Completing basic plumbing tasks such as fitting sinks and minor reconnects
- Carrying out small patch plastering or making-good works where required
- Working to schedule within occupied and void properties
- Delivering high-quality workmanship with excellent customer service
- Ensuring works comply with health & safety and contract standards
- Proven background as a Joiner, Carpenter, or Kitchen Fitter
- Experience working in social housing or domestic properties (highly desirable)
- Multi-skilled capabilities (plumbing/tiling/plaster patching advantageous)
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and professionally in tenants' homes
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
