We are looking for a dependable Facilities Assistant to help maintain our offices and surrounding social housing sites to a high standard. The role includes office cleaning duties and driving around local sites to collect litter and rubbish, helping to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for staff, residents, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning office areas including kitchens, toilets, meeting rooms, and communal spaces
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety
- Driving company vehicles
- Collecting litter and rubbish from outdoor areas and housing estates
- Disposing of waste safely and correctly
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or damage
- Carrying out general facilities and caretaking duties as required
Requirements
- Full clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Previous experience in cleaning, facilities, or caretaking (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
