Design Engineer – Security Systems Remuneration: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum plus package (negotiable subject to experience) Location: Warrington Type: Permanent (Hybrid /Flexi working) Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a security systems design engineer with an impeccable knowledge of physical security products to join permanently and work with established commercial and design teams in ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with regulations and accordance with client specifications. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of integrated security systems such as CCTV and Intercom Systems and have confidence in their ability to integrate the physical security products with electronic security devices. Responsibilities: – Lead site visits alongside the Head of Design or design team, acting as the primary contact for sub-contract designers. – Develop electronic security scoping technical specifications based on site visits and 3D scans. – Liaise with sub-contractor design teams to refine the scope of works and ensure alignment with project requirements. – Review and assess sub-contractor pricing and specifications for accuracy, quality, completeness, and cost-effectiveness. – Oversee and manage Tender TQs, including maintaining the Tender TQ register during the tendering period. – Assist project and tendering …
