Job Summary: You will be responsible for maintaining and preparing void properties within the social housing sector. This includes tasks such as removing carpets, painting, cleaning, and general upkeep to ensure properties are ready for new tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Void Property Preparation: Remove carpets, underlay, and other floor coverings from void properties.
- Painting and Decorating: Carry out painting and decorating tasks to a high standard, ensuring all surfaces are properly prepared and finished.
- Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning of properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas.
- General Maintenance: Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required, such as fixing door handles, replacing light bulbs, and ensuring properties are safe and habitable.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
