Ready for a change of pace?
If you're working in London and have been considering a move somewhere with more space, a lower cost of living and a different pace of life, this could be worth a look.
I'm recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for an established main contractor's new-build housing team in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. The team delivers affordable housing and extra-care developments for housing associations and local authorities across the North.

- Procuring and managing subcontract packages, assessing applications and issuing payment notices.
- Preparing monthly valuations and agreeing final accounts.
- Producing internal valuations, CVRs and subcontract liability reports.
- Measuring work from drawings and on site, valuing variations and managing contractual change.
- Working with project teams to manage delays, control costs and minimise commercial risk.
What we’re looking for
The essential requirement is Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor on new-build housing projects.
You’ll also need:
- At least three years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
- A full UK driving licence.
- An HND or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, alongside a CSCS card, would be advantageous.
What’s on offer?
