Anderselite Elite are recruiting for an M&E Site Manager in Manchester.
The role will be working on a new build healthcare type project.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage day-to-day M&E site activities, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
-Coordinate and supervise mechanical and electrical subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project schedule and quality expectations.
-Ensure M&E works are delivered in compliance with HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) standards and other healthcare-specific regulations.
-Oversee M&E installations including HVAC, lighting, fire alarm systems, BMS, medical gases, and plumbing.
-Attend and lead M&E coordination meetings, liaising with design consultants and the client team as required.
-Monitor progress against programme, identifying and resolving potential delays or issues.
-Ensure all RAMS, permits, and quality assurance documentation is in place and up to date.
-Liaise with the wider site management team to integrate M&E works with general construction activities.
-Manage snagging, commissioning, and handover processes in collaboration with subcontractors and the client team.
-Maintain high standards of site health & safety and environmental compliance.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager on new-build healthcare or similar complex projects.
-Strong understanding of M&E building services, including commissioning and compliance standards.
-Experience working for a main contractor or large M&E subcontractor.
-Excellent organisational and communication skills.
-Ability to read and interpret M&E technical drawings and specifications.
-SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
-Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering or building services (HNC/HND/Degree level desirable).
-Experience with healthcare projects and knowledge of HTM guidelines is highly desirable.
