My client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in the London area.
You will lead and coordinate the engineering team to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within a critical environment.
This role involves supervising specialist vendors, managing compliance with statutory regulations, and ensuring all maintenance activities meet contractual service level agreements.
The successful candidate will oversee high and low voltage switching operations, manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive and corrective work orders via CMMS systems, and provide technical reports and recommendations for system improvements.
You will also support emergency engineering cover, manage critical spares, and ensure all engineering activities align with OEM and industry standards such as SFG20.
The role requires active participation in client meetings, performance management of the engineering team, and maintaining up-to-date asset databases and compliance documentation.
A key focus is on maintaining asset reliability, statutory compliance, and continuous improvement through training and competency development.
You will also lead incident reporting, manage vendor performance escalations, and ensure effective communication of technical and legislative updates.
Skills:
Minimum 3 years\’ experience in critical environments (e.g. Banking HQ, Data Centres)
HV/LV Authorised Person (or willingness to train)
Electrical/Mechanical Engineering HNC or HND (or completed apprenticeship)
City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent
18th Edition IEE Wiring and Installation
IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH equivalent
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and report writing abilities
Proficient IT skills, including CMMS (e.g. Corrigo)
Ability to work calmly under pressure and deliver to deadlines
Software/Tools:
Corrigo CMMS or equivalent Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Certifications & Standards:
HV/LV Authorised Person certification (or ability to obtain)
City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 (Electrical) or equivalent

IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH Health and Safety qualification
