REMOTE ROLE
Anderselite are currently working with a Cardiff based client in their search for an experienced Landscape Architect. You will have at least 2-4 years post graduate experience in a Landscape Architecture practice in the UK and be able to demonstrate project management during keys stages, particularly tender/construction.
The ideal candidate will also have the ability to be able to work independently & remotely as this is a remote position with infrequent site and office visits. The applicant will be guided and supported by the Manager/Senior Landscape Architect, but independent working skills are essential.
The role would involve supporting and project managing various schemes from inception through to practical completion. Work would involve designing any park refurbishments from play areas, sports, park amenities, paths & other existing features, or may require a new masterplan or complete redesign. The applicant should be open to working on the smallest to largest schemes to assist in delivery. The applicant should be able to support this by presentation of a portfolio, references, and by a probation/ working period.
You will also need to have creative awareness and forward thinking as challenges will need to be met with pragmatic, creative solutions. You will also be able to use autocad, adobe creative suite, and Microsoft packages to a good standard and prepare technical documents (General Arrangement, planting plans, setting out, construction details and other associated plans). Other skills needed would include
Specification writing/ Pricing documents/ CDM risk assessments
The successful candidate will also have a willingness to prepare forms to assist in the various stages of projects so contract and pre-tender award forms, the ability to present work and outcomes using graphic boards, online presentations, attending meetings, being responsible for delivery, overseeing budgets, processing payments, and ensuring the project is delivered on time.
