We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established contractor operating within the social housing sector. They are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join their team on a permanent basis, working across a busy repairs and maintenance contract in the Leeds area.
About the Role:
You\’ll be carrying out a variety of bricklaying tasks including repointing, wall repairs, small rebuilds, and general masonry maintenance across tenanted and void properties. The role involves working independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality workmanship in a customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertaking brickwork repairs and maintenance
Repointing and replacing damaged brickwork
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
Communicating effectively with tenants and site supervisors
Completing job sheets and reporting progress
Requirements:
Proven experience as a bricklayer, ideally within social housing or domestic repairs
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Bricklaying (preferred)
Good understanding of health & safety on site
Ability to work independently and manage workload
Full UK driving licence (company van may be provided)
