We are currently looking for a Surveyor with expertise in damp and mould assessments to join our clients property team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid history of effectively diagnosing and resolving issues related to dampness, condensation, and mould within residential properties., Perform comprehensive inspections to detect mould, damp, and condensation problems in homes.
Identify the underlying causes of damp and mould, considering structural, ventilation, and lifestyle elements.
Prepare thorough reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans for remediation.
Work closely with contractors, housing officers, and tenants to ensure efficient resolution of issues while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Provide expert guidance on preventing future damp and mould issues, including educating tenants and suggesting property maintenance improvements.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and Environmental Health standards.

Demonstrated experience in conducting mould and damp inspections and preparing reports.

Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, and ventilation systems.

Background working with councils, housing associations, or similar entities in the housing sector.
