Duties and responsibilities related to the Assistant Outlet Manager role:

  • Supervises the day to day functioning of all restaurant employees, facilities, sales and costs.
  • Supervises, co-ordinates and directs the prompt, efficient and courteous service of food and beverages in the restaurant.
  • Establishes and maintains effective employee relationships.
  • Conducts, under the guidance of the Restaurant Manager, such functions as interviewing, hiring, employee orientation, on the job performance, coaching, counseling and suspension if necessary to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
  • Conducts pre-shift briefings and maintains liaison with The Head Chef.
  • Participates in service as necessary in accordance with the requirements and practices of the restaurant.
  • Ensures restaurant grooming and appearance standards are met at all times.
  • Assists in administration work as required by the Restaurant Manager.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Sets up and carries out training of all staff at all levels, under the guidance of the Restaurant Manager.
