Duties and responsibilities related to the Chef de Partie role Take ownership of your assigned kitchen section, ensuring dishes are consistently prepared and presented to the highest standards while supporting junior colleagues throughout service. Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety, ensuring your section is always service-ready and fully compliant with hygiene and health and safety requirements. Follow recipes, specifications and portion controls accurately while minimising waste and contributing to effective stock management and food cost control. Support the training and development of Commis Chefs and Demi Chef de Parties, sharing knowledge and helping to build a collaborative and high-performing kitchen team. Work closely with the wider kitchen brigade to deliver memorable dining experiences, accommodating guest requests where possible and contributing ideas to enhance menus and dishes. You have previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie ready to take the next step, within a high-end lifestyle hotel or quality restaurant. You are confident managing your own section, consistently producing high-quality dishes and performing well in a busy service environment. You have a collaborative approach, strong attention to detail and take pride in maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards.
