What you will do as an Assistant Manager- Front Office:

  • Take lead on the complaints of the day and liaise with the team regarding recovery and compensation.
  • Responsible for all Front Office functions during the shift.
  • The role includes supervising and training supervisors, Hosts, Guest Services Agents and Door hosts.
  • Ensuring all daily tasks are completed accordingly and provide assistance if needed.
  • Ensuring credit limit, open folio are up to date and closed.
  • Review the arrival lists and make sure allocations are done according to guest preferences, length of stay and notes.
  • Review any group arrival and prepare allocation and arrivals according to the group agenda.
  • Work together with the Managers to optimize the departmental goals, such as Customer Service, Upsell and Enrollments.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Front Office Manager and Guest Relations Manager to deliver high guest expectations and ensure the team is providing a five-star service consistently.
  • Perform training on the job and give feedback if and when needed.
  • Assist the Assistant Front Office Manager in developing the team and set catch ups e.g. in form of a buddy chat on a regular basis, to help the team improve their performance and IDPs.
  • Be able to take the lead during SSM situations such as fire evacuations, fire drills, or other Health and Safety procedures.
  • Prepare and follow action plan for the month to reach out KPIs.
