We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce Platform Lead to take ownership of our Salesforce environment and shape how it evolves to better support our customers and colleagues. With deep Salesforce platform expertise and a strong background in technical leadership, you’ll drive our roadmap, maximise the value of the platform and help us deliver simpler, more effective services that make a real difference day to day.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll be hands‑on across both project delivery and BAU, working alongside delivery partners and internal teams to understand our current state, map out what’s needed to get the platform where we want it to be, and strengthen how it operates in line with best practice.
- You’ll build strong, trusted relationships across the business, working with stakeholders at all levels to navigate priorities, shape solutions and keep things moving forward in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
- You’ll stay close to the Salesforce roadmap and emerging innovations, making sure we’re making the most of the platform and staying ahead of the curve.
- You’ll balance big‑picture thinking with day‑to‑day delivery, ensuring the platform continues to evolve while remaining stable, well‑governed and delivering real value.
This is an Agile home‑working role, but you’ll need to be able to travel into our Leeds workspace on occasion for team meetings, co‑working and collaborative sessions.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and communicate the Salesforce vision and roadmap, aligned to organisational priorities and customer outcomes.
- Act as the single point of accountability for the platform.
- Lead delivery, managing priorities, backlog and competing demands.
- Provide assurance that solutions meet technical, architectural and regulatory standards.
- Oversee BAU performance, including support, incidents and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop a multi‑disciplinary Salesforce team, fostering collaborative, agile ways of working.
Who we’re looking for:
- We’re looking for someone who takes real ownership, brings deep Salesforce expertise, and is motivated by making a positive difference for our customers and colleagues.
- You’ll have experience leading a complex Salesforce platform, with the confidence to get into the detail, ask the right questions and challenge to get to better outcomes.
- You’ll be naturally curious, staying close to new developments and always looking for ways to improve how things work.
- You’ll also be a strong and supportive leader, able to build trust, bring people together and create a team environment where people can do their best work.
- Comfortable working at pace, you’ll balance priorities, make decisions and make things happen in a changing environment.
Desired experience:
- Experience owning a Salesforce platform in a complex environment.
- Strong technical understanding across design, development and integrations.
- A track record of leading teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Experience across delivery and BAU in a fast‑moving setting.
Benefits:
- Salary: £72,000 per annum (35 hours/week).
- 26 days annual leave (rising to 31 annually) + Bank Holidays.
- Permanent contract.
- We offer a reward package to suit everyone, including a cash plan, retail discounts, a pension scheme with up to 9% match and a wellbeing support package with free fitness classes, instant GP service and free counselling sessions with a trained professional.
Equal Opportunity:
At YH, we’re actively building a working environment that’s inclusive as well as diverse, where everyone can contribute their best work and be themselves.
