Team Leader (Electrical and Facilities)
We’re looking for an experienced and customer‑focused Team Leader to join our team, leading the delivery of electrical services across our homes in Yorkshire. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance requirements, while supporting your team to deliver a high‑quality customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team delivering electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with regulations.
- Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders, managing day‑to‑day operations, monitoring performance, and supporting your team to deliver excellent results.
- Lead and support a team of electricians and operatives.
- Oversee day‑to‑day service delivery and workload management.
- Monitor performance, set targets, and drive improvements.
- Ensure all work is compliant with regulations and safety standards.
- Carry out quality checks, audits, and performance reviews.
- Support training, coaching, and development of team members.
- Manage customer issues and complaints effectively.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Support resource planning and operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical services.
- Relevant electrical qualifications, including inspection and testing.
- Experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Knowledge of compliance and health and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience managing performance and improving services.
- Proactive and solution‑focused approach.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- A strong commitment to customer service.
