Videographer & Video Editor

Videographer & Video Editor

Full-Time No working from home possible
AND THE NEW

AND THE NEW is an award-winning social-first strategic marketing agency working with

leading sports, culture and entertainment brands. We help ambitious rights-holders, teams,

leagues, and brands grow through platform-native content, sharp creative and intelligent

distribution.

We are currently seeking an energetic Videographer / Video Editor to join our growing and

talented team. The ideal candidate has a spark in their eye for thinking outside the box, is

experienced in both videography and video editing primarily for social content, and

preferably is experienced working in the live sports or entertainment sectors.

You’ll be deployed on-the-ground across our portfolio of clients filming and editing content

for international motorsport series through to pitch side at rugby matches, Premier League

matchdays, and brand shoots in between. You’ll need to be open to international travel,

have an eye for social-first engaging video and edits, and be self-motivated to capture the

stories and content each client needs.

AT A GLANCE:

  • Full-time in-house role with hybrid working.
  • London (2 office days per week) - must be UK-based.
  • Ideally 2-3+ years’ experience shooting and editing in a live event setting.
  • Heavy international travel to global client shoots and live events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Shoot and edit social-first video content live at major sporting events from supercross and F1 to rugby and Premier League football, plus brand campaign shoots in between.
  • Run and gun: capture fast-moving, unscripted moments and turn them into scroll-stopping content, without a three-camera setup or a shot-by-shot storyboard.
  • Own pre-production for controlled shoot days: shot lists, content narrative, kit requirements, logistics.
  • Often edit same-day, on-site, for same-day publication, especially while on-site at event.
  • Grade, edit and manipulate video to a high standard across formats, from vertical social cuts to longer brand pieces.
  • Tailor every edit to the platform it's landing on and understanding what natively performs on each.
  • Stay on top of platform trends and apply them to future shoots and edits.
  • Track how your content performs and use it to sharpen future output.
  • Work closely with social and account teams to understand each client's goals and translate them into content on the ground.
  • Report into our Content Production Director and sit within the wider content production team.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience as a videographer in a live event setting (ideally sport) with a showreel that shows you can capture the moment and the attention, not just set up a shot.
  • Equally strong as an editor: confident cutting fast, under time pressure, without dropping quality.
  • Direct experience creating content for social channels specifically, not just broadcast or long-form production.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Proand well acquainted with After Effects, plus solid colour correction and sound design skills.
  • Comfortable and competent with heavy international travel (logistically, personally, and with equipment). You'll manage kit across many shoots, many countries, often back-to-back.
  • A genuine passion for sport, culture and entertainment, and sharp instincts for what actually works on social.
  • Able to work at pace without dropping the bar, and flexible on evenings and weekends around the live sporting calendar.
  • A clear communicator, comfortable asking the right questions on-site and liaising with clients when needed.

WHAT GREAT LOOKS LIKE

You land at a live event with a shot list ready to go. You capture the moments that matter, adapt when the schedule changes, and have a first cut ready before you've left the venue. Your kit is packed, charged and ready for the next flight. Six months in, clients are asking for you by name.

WHO THRIVES HERE

People who are high-agency, self-sufficient and genuinely energised by being on the road. You don't need hand-holding on a shoot day, you make good calls under pressure, and you get as much satisfaction from a clean edit as a great shot. You're proactive and genuinely care about creating outstanding content.

BENEFITS

  • 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays + birthday off.
  • Hybrid working (2 days in Central London office).
  • International travel opportunities to races and global events.
  • Employee Lifestyle and Discounts Benefits scheme.
  • Annual training budget to drive your personal development and continual learning in an area of your choice.
  • Opportunity to grow with a rising agency making award-winning work.

We actively welcome applicants from all backgrounds, experiences, and industries. At AND THE NEW, we believe great ideas are born from difference and we’re building a team that reflects that.
