AND THE NEW is an award-winning social-first strategic marketing agency. We are defined by our obsession to inspire and engage audiences through their passions across sports, entertainment, and culture. We’re hiring a Social Media Manager and Content Producer to help us scale in 2026 and work closely on two of our most important relationships overseeing the growth of two global sporting clients.

On one side, you’ll be the day-to-day social lead for a team in the E1 Series, the world’s first all-electric powerboat racing championship, helping shape strategy, running channels, managing client communications, and then going on the road to deliver in live race environments. That means capturing content on-site, editing fast-turnaround assets, publishing in real time, and staying calm while the pace goes up.

On the other, you’ll lead YouTube growth for a global motorsport series and associated media platform. This is a hands-on publishing and performance role for someone who understands how YouTube actually grows: better packaging, stronger hooks, tighter retention, smarter programming, better systems, and ruthless iteration.

If you’re someone who can move between a race weekend, a content calendar, a thumbnail conversation, a WhatsApp approvals thread, and a YouTube performance review without losing grip on quality, pace, or detail, this is for you.

AT A GLANCE:
  • Play a leading role as the social manager and content producer on two priority accounts across sport and culture.
  • Run day-to-day social for a team in the E1 Series across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and relevant emerging channels.
  • Lead YouTube growth for a global motorsport series across long-form and Shorts.
  • Blend live event production, social publishing, client communications, YouTube packaging, and performance iteration.
  • Work closely across the agency team, especially alongside our Head of Social, Content Production Director and Senior Social Media and Strategy Manager.
  • London-based hybrid role, typically 2–3 days per week in person, plus significant international travel for E1 race events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:E1 Series Team
  • Own the day-to-day running of the social channels for a team in the E1 Series across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and relevant supporting platforms.
  • Manage publishing schedules, captions, posting cadence, storylines, community management, and channel hygiene.
  • Work with AND THE NEW’s Head of Social and Content Production Director to shape social and content strategy.
  • Act as the core day-to-day client contact: proactive updates, clear communication, status management, feedback loops, and follow-through.
  • Build and maintain content plans that balance campaign priorities, race moments, always-on storytelling, and platform-native reactive content.
  • Attend E1 events across the season and operate confidently in a live motorsport environment.
  • Capture content on-site across phone-first and lightweight production workflows, working alongside a Videographer at race events.
  • Edit and publish fast-turnaround content in real time during race weekends, working alongside a Video Editor where required.
  • Support run-of-show planning, approvals, remote coordination, and stakeholder alignment while on the ground.
  • Monitor performance and feed insights back into the next content decisions quickly.
  • Keep standards high under pressure: organised files, clean handovers, smart prioritisation, and calm execution.
Global Motorsport Series
  • Own YouTube growth across an emerging global motorsport series.
  • Manage publishing schedules for long-form and Shorts, making sure outputs are consistent, organised, and performance-led.
  • Lead content planning and editing briefs with a clear view on audience value, packaging, and growth potential.
  • Drive better performance through smarter titles, thumbnails, hooks, watch-time strategy, retention shaping, and series thinking.
  • Work closely with editors and designers to improve content packaging and creative decision-making.
  • QA titles, thumbnails, metadata, descriptions, playlists, end screens, and upload flows before videos go live.
  • Build and refine recurring formats, shows, and franchises that can compound audience growth over time.
  • Review channel performance regularly and turn insight into action: test, learn, iterate, repeat.
  • Keep projects moving across teams and deadlines, ensuring creative, publishing, and feedback loops stay tight.
  • Bring a publisher mindset to the channel: not just “what are we uploading?” but “why will this win, and how do we make the next one better?”.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience running social channels in a hands-on role for a brand, rights-holder, team, publisher, agency, or media business.
  • Strong live content instincts and experience operating in fast-paced environments such as sport, events, entertainment, or news-style social coverage.
  • Experience capturing content on-site and editing quick-turn social assets for live or near-live publishing.
  • Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and how content should be adapted across each platform.
  • Strong YouTube growth understanding across long-form and Shorts.
  • Clear grasp of the metrics and levers that matter on YouTube, including CTR, retention, watch time, viewer satisfaction, programming, series strategy, titles, and thumbnails.
  • Experience briefing editors/designers and improving creative output through packaging and performance feedback.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills; able to manage multiple workstreams without dropping detail.
  • Confident handling day-to-day client communication and keeping stakeholders aligned.
  • Calm, positive, and solutions-first under pressure.
  • Able to work independently while travelling and collaborating remotely.
  • Based within commuting distance of London for hybrid working.
  • Willing and able to travel internationally throughout the year.
NICE TO HAVES (BIG PLUS)
  • Experience in motorsport, action sport, combat sport, or fast-moving live sports environments.
  • Experience working across both social management and YouTube growth in the same role.
  • Familiarity with creator-led, publisher-led, or documentary-style content strategies.
  • Experience building repeatable content franchises or episodic formats.
  • Confidence using mobile editing tools plus working alongside higher-end post-production teams.
  • Experience using analytics and social listening tools to spot trends and performance opportunities.
  • Basic production planning or run-of-show experience for live events or shoots.
BENEFITS
  • 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays + birthday off.
  • Hybrid working (2-3 days in Central London office).
  • International travel opportunities to races and global events.
  • Employee Lifestyle and Discounts Benefits scheme.
  • Annual training budget to drive your personal development and continual learning in an area of your choice.
  • Free gym membership.
  • Free in-office barista coffee.
  • Enrolment into the agency-wide profit-sharing bonus scheme.
  • Opportunity to grow with a rising agency making award-winning work.
