We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can lead from the front.

AT A GLANCE

  • Work closely with strategists, creatives, editors, and designers to shape work built for growth, not just output
  • Own day-to-day client communication, approvals, and delivery across fast-moving accounts
  • Support live publishing and content capture when needed across events, shoots, and high-pressure moments
  • London hybrid role, typically 2–3 days per week in person, with some travel depending on client, event, and production needs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the day-to-day running of social channels across priority client accounts
  • Manage publishing across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other relevant platforms
  • Build and maintain content calendars that balance campaign priorities, always‑on activity, reactive opportunities, and platform‑native storytelling
  • Write strong captions, posting copy, briefs, and content plans with a clear understanding of audience, platform behaviour, and brand tone
  • Lead community management across accounts, including comment moderation, audience interaction, escalation handling, and spotting opportunities to engage in real time
  • Work closely with strategists, creatives, editors, and designers to help shape social-first ideas from concept through to delivery
  • Turn strategy into execution by making sure content is packaged, scheduled, published, and optimised properly
  • Support live and near‑live content delivery across events, live sport, shoots, launches, and high‑pressure moments where pace and judgement matter
  • Capture lightweight content on site where needed and work with production teams to get assets live quickly and cleanly
  • Manage approvals and day-to-day client communication with professionalism, pace, and attention to detail
  • Keep workstreams moving by coordinating timelines, asset requirements, feedback loops, and publishing deadlines across internal and external teams
  • Monitor channel and content performance regularly, turning insight into action rather than just reporting numbers
  • Identify patterns in audience behaviour, content performance, and platform shifts, then feed those learnings back into planning and execution
  • Help shape content that is built for growth through better hooks, better packaging, stronger platform fit, smarter distribution, and sharper iteration
  • Maintain high standards across channel hygiene, file organisation, publishing accuracy, and handovers

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven hands‑on experience managing social media in a brand, rights‑holder, team, publisher, agency, media, entertainment, or culture‑led environment
  • Strong knowledge of platform best practice across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other relevant platforms
  • A clear understanding of what makes social content work on-platform, including format, pacing, storytelling, packaging, and distribution
  • Experience managing day-to-day publishing, community management, content calendars, and reporting across multiple channels
  • Confidence working with internal creative teams and giving clear briefs and feedback to editors, designers, and strategists
  • Confidence handling day-to-day client communication, approvals, and stakeholder management
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and moving parts without losing grip on detail
  • Good instincts in reactive, fast‑moving, or live content environments
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and travelling when required for shoots, events, or client needs
  • Based within commuting distance of London
