Key Responsibilities
- Lead and enable distributed engineering teams, fostering a high-performance culture across London-based and nearshore development groups.
- Serve as the technical heartbeat for a mission‑critical platform that powers global advertising and audience insights.
- Oversee architecture and implementation of scalable, secure, and high‑performance cloud‑native solutions in AWS.
- Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines, code review practices, and engineering standards.
- Provide stakeholder management and collaboration with product owners, senior executives, and technical architects.
- Mentor and coach engineers, driving technical excellence and professional growth.
- Ensure consistent code quality, performance, and security across all teams.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience leading and enabling remote or nearshore engineering teams.
- Hands‑on engineering skill set, writing high‑quality code in Java (Spring Boot) and React.
- Deep understanding of modern front‑end patterns, back‑end microservices, and architectural stewardship.
- Solid expertise in building and deploying on AWS, including serverless components and data pipelines.
- Ability to build trust quickly and provide technical leadership during rapid growth phases.
- Consultative mindset with a focus on stakeholder collaboration and business value.
- Experience in high‑volume data streaming or programmatic advertising platforms is advantageous.
