We are recruiting for a Contract Tech Lead for a 6 month contract to start ASAP.

Day rate up to £400.

Candidates must be able to commute to Stratford once a week.

The Role

  • Be a technical lead for key initiatives, act as a technical authority and knowledge source for the wider team, providing mentorship to help others grow their technical capabilities.
  • Work in collaboration with Product and Project Managers, Architects, etc to identify requirements.
  • Transition high level designs design to delivery, by working closely with solution architects and supporting key transition activities.
  • Provide significant contribution to test strategies and plans as determined by the project or initiative.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for scientific teams, translating research workflows and data requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Design and implement complex cloud solutions for scientific workloads, staying current with research-focused services.
  • Apply SRE and Dev Ops best practices, implementing automation and CI/CD pipelines to reduce toil and improve reliability.
  • Experienced with AWS and hybrid cloud architecture.
  • Experienced with Infrastructure as Code, Python, R, CI/CD and Linux.
  • Experience of cloud-native architecture and clouds services, various SQL and no SQL databases, as well as messaging queues.
