The Squad Lead plays a lead role in the build and delivery of remarkable products. You will lead and inspire a squad to succeed, bringing your passion for managing and developing people through career coaching and mentoring, and work with senior client stakeholders to accelerate their digital capabilities.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Software engineering experience across the whole stack including a specialism in .net based solutions.
- Comfortable being hands-on with development teams, understanding what great code looks like and able to see the bigger picture, taking into account architecture and applying a DevOps mindset.
- In-depth expertise across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, adopting cloud-native approaches like serverless and event-driven architectures, and managing diverse Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) workloads.
- Experience leading Engineering Teams – handling some of the tricky stuff as well as developing the talent within your team.
- A passion for supporting the growth and professional development of others through hands-on line management of a squad of ANDis from mixed disciplines.
- Advanced knowledge on agile delivery and how to apply it to transformation journeys at an organisational level with the ability to bring others on board.
- An understanding of working in a professional services set up and the dynamics of supplier-client relationships.
- An understanding of the need to be flexible – to tailor your approach depending on who you’re working with, to see the opportunity when things aren’t perfect, to enable teams to deliver remarkable work by wearing these different hats!
