We are recruiting for a PHP Developer to join us ASAP for a duration of six months initially. This role is 2-3 days per week on-site in Crewe. Must be happy to work Inside IR35.

What you’ll bring to the table:
About You: As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining modern, scalable web applications. You’ll work across both frontend and backend, collaborating closely with designers and engineers to deliver high-quality digital experiences. You’re someone who enjoys writing clean code, values best practices like Test-Driven Development, and is eager to continue developing your technical skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Frontend Development: Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using Next.js and React
- Backend Development: Develop and maintain backend services using Laravel (PHP)
- API Development: Design and integrate RESTful APIs across systems
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following TDD principles
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences
- Agile Delivery: Contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and technical discussions
- Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve technical issues across the stack
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with modern development practices and tools
Technical Profile:
Core Skills:
- Strong proficiency with Next.js and React.js
- Strong experience with Laravel (PHP framework)
- Solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL)
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
