We are recruiting for a Contract Tech Lead for a 6 month contract to start ASAP. Day rate up to £400. Candidates must be able to commute to Stratford once a week.

The Role:
- Be a technical lead for key initiatives, act as a technical authority and knowledge source for the wider team, providing mentorship to help others grow their technical capabilities.
- Work in collaboration with Product and Project Managers, Architects, etc to identify requirements.
- Transition high level designs to delivery, by working closely with solution architects and supporting key transition activities.
- Provide significant contribution to test strategies and plans as determined by the project or initiative.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for scientific teams, translating research workflows and data requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Design and implement complex cloud solutions for scientific workloads, staying current with research-focused services.
- Apply SRE and DevOps best practices, implementing automation and CI/CD pipelines to reduce toil and improve reliability.
- Experienced with AWS and hybrid cloud architecture.
- Experienced with Infrastructure as Code, Python, R, CI/CD and Linux.
- Experience of cloud-native architecture and cloud services, various SQL and noSQL databases, as well as messaging queues.
