Overview
We are recruiting Van Drivers on behalf of our client who are a meat wholesaler with a depot in Pucklechurch, Bristol, BS16 postcode.
Working as part of their delivery team, your main duties will be to complete chilled deliveries of cooked and raw meats on a set route to butchers, cafes and other food establishments throughout the South West region. Given the nature of the work, you will be required to offload at point of delivery.
This is both temporary and flexible work, which means we can cater for drivers who are looking for ad-hoc or full-time hours each week, on a regular ongoing basis.
Due to insurance: candidates must have a minimum of 6 months recent commercial driving experience.
Full Induction and training is provided.
Hours of work: Tuesday to Friday shifts, 05:00am starts daily. Depending on volumes, there is also the option to pick up the occasional Monday shift too. Average shift length is 8hrs to 10hrs daily, but this can vary depending on your route.
Hourly Pay Rates (PAYE only): £13.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Complete chilled deliveries of cooked and raw meats on a set route to customers including butchers, cafes and other food establishments.
