We are recruiting Class 2 Trampers for a well-established company in Yatton, who manufacture and supply double glazing and other home improvement products to building, maintenance and construction companies throughout the UK.
Your job role will be driving a curtain-sided rigid 18-tonne truck, where you will be delivering door and window profiles to building sites, trade centres and individual developments throughout the UK. Due to the nature of the work, some handball and lifting is required. This is a tramping role, so you will work 4 nights away each week. This is a temporary contract.
We are a recruitment agency so our work can be flexible, this means we can cater for drivers who are looking for ad-hoc or full-time hours each week, on a regular ongoing basis - however, this particular position is of an ongoing long-term nature for the successful candidates.
Due to insurance restrictions, we look for drivers with a minimum of 12 months recent Class 2 experience.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 4am to 6am start times daily Plus nights away
Hourly pay rates: £16.00 per hour (PAYE) Plus £25 per night in allowance
