We are recruiting for a Class Two Night Driver/Production in Taunton, TA2 postcode, for a local company who are a meat wholesaler.
Working as part of their transport team, you will be driving an 18-tonne refrigerated truck with a tail-lift, where you will be responsible for completing deliveries of meat products to RDCs, shops, supermarkets and restaurants on a set route. The meat is palletised in boxes, so you will use a tail-lift and pump truck to offload at point of delivery. This position is a 50/50 split, so where there are no deliveries to complete, you will be offered work in the production area to make up your hours.
Our work is flexible. We look for drivers who can work between one and five shifts, each week, on a regular ongoing basis. Full induction and training is provided.
Due to insurance restrictions; you must have held your Class 2 for at least 12 months, with experience too.
