Our client, a large independent haulier that operates a fleet of temperature controlled double deck trailers, are looking for HGV 1 Day Drivers to work out of their Avonmouth Depot.
Your main duties will include delivering and collecting bulk loads of palletised chilled goods to and from end customers including depot to depot, RDCs and food companies. Drop and swop or live loaded.
This is a temporary contract. We are a recruitment agency so our work can be flexible, this means we can cater for drivers who are looking for adhoc or full time hours each week, on a regular ongoing basis.
Due to insurance restrictions, drivers must have a minimum of 2 years Class 1 commercial driving experience.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday, 07:00am to 09:00am starts daily, approx. 10 to 12hrs per shift
- Some weekend shifts available too
Hourly Pay Rates:
- Monday to Friday: £17 per hour (PAYE)
- Saturday: £18 per hour (PAYE)
- Sunday: £19 per hour (PAYE)
