About the Employer: Ancora Medical Practice is owned by the partners and consists of a main surgery situated on Ashby Road, Scunthorpe and a branch surgery at Detuyll Street, Scunthorpe based at the north side of the town. Like the population of the area, the practice has grown and our services have expanded. Currently we have the largest list size in North Lincolnshire of 20,000 + patients.
What You'll Do:
- General administrative duties including typing correspondence by e-mail and letter
- Answering the telephone in a professional and helpful manner
- Entering data onto internal systems with a high level of accuracy and speed
- Working with various databases to extract and manipulate information
- Any other duties requested by the line manager
Training Outcome: Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a higher-level apprenticeship or full-time employment for the right candidate. Several opportunities for career progression on completion.
