We are looking for a Video Editor and Content Shooter with a performance marketing background to join the Ancient + Brave in‑house creative team. This is a hands‑on role for someone who is equally comfortable behind a camera and in the edit suite. You will shoot and edit video content built to perform across paid and organic social platforms.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Plan and shoot video content across a range of formats – UGC‑style, product‑focused, lifestyle and brand storytelling.
- Shoot on location, in‑studio and at our headquarters in Lewes, adapting style and approach to brief requirements.
- Light, set up and direct shoots efficiently, including solo self‑shooting where required.
- Work confidently with founders, team members and external talent on camera.
- Edit short‑form video content for paid social (Meta, TikTok) and organic channels.
- Cut, subtitle, colour‑grade and mix audio to produce polished, platform‑ready assets.
- Produce multiple creative variations from a single shoot to support performance testing.
- Deliver high volumes of content without compromising quality.
- Apply a performance mindset to all shooting and editing decisions – understanding hooks, pacing, format and structure that drive results.
- Collaborate with the Creative Strategist to execute briefs and creative concepts effectively.
- Iterate on content based on performance data and testing learnings.
- Use AI tools to support editing and content production at scale.
WHO YOU ARE
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high‑quality, platform‑native content for Meta and TikTok.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent).
- Proven experience shooting and editing short‑form video content for performance marketing channels – D2C, wellness, beauty or lifestyle brand experience a plus.
- Ability to plan, shoot and edit independently with minimal direction.
- Strong understanding of what makes video content perform – hooks, pacing, format and storytelling.
- Comfortable working at pace in a fast‑moving creative environment.
- Passionate about video craft and performance marketing in equal measure.
- Self‑sufficient, organised and highly proactive.
