The Role
Drive strong revenue and profit growth across Amazon and selected marketplaces through best‑in‑class trading, marketing, and commercial execution. Take ownership of all commercial levers — pricing, media, promotions, and growth strategy — to maximise performance, efficiency, and brand impact. Oversee the channel and the overall P&L.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial & Trading Leadership
- Own Amazon P&L delivery, including sales, margin, and profit contribution.
- Define and execute the trading strategy across pricing, promotions, and category growth.
- Lead dynamic pricing initiatives to maximise Buy Box share and profitability.
- Manage commercial forecasting in partnership with Finance and Operations.
- Balance growth with profitability through disciplined ASIN‑level margin management.
- Marketing & Traffic Generation
- Own full‑funnel Amazon and marketplace advertising strategy (Sponsored Ads, DSP, retargeting).
- Manage agency and platform partners to drive performance and innovation.
- Increase visibility and conversion through continuous content optimisation (titles, A+, Stores, video).
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns (Prime Day, Q4 Peak, seasonal deals) with clear ROI.
- Leverage external traffic channels (social, influencer, DTC email) to support Amazon ranking.
- Analytics & Insight
- Build a high‑frequency trading dashboard with clear metrics (sales, conversion, ad spend efficiency).
- Translate search term, keyword, and customer data into actionable insights.
- Lead test‑and‑learn initiatives across pricing, creative, and promotional structures.
- Partner with Operations to connect trading, advertising, and availability data for end‑to‑end visibility.
- Strategic Growth & Innovation
- Identify and scale new categories, territories, and product launch opportunities.
- Drive cross‑functional alignment around growth plans and margin expectations.
- Ensure brand and commercial readiness for international Amazon marketplaces.
- Operational Oversight
- Ensure all back‑end elements are in place — listing health, stock levels, notifications, registrations, FBM/FBA mix — to maintain strong performance across sites.

- Listing health score and % active listings.
- Amazon net sales growth % and profit contribution.
- Advertising ROAS / TACoS improvement.
- Conversion rate, Buy Box %, and category share.
- Forecast accuracy vs actual performance.

Who You Are
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills / knowledge / experience:
- You have deep, hands‑on experience owning Amazon and marketplace P&Ls, with a proven track record of driving profitable growth through pricing, promotions, media and disciplined margin management.
- You are a commercial trader at heart — confident making fast, data‑led decisions at ASIN level to win Buy Box, optimise ROAS/TACoS, and balance growth with efficiency.
- You bring strong full‑funnel Amazon marketing expertise, including Sponsored Ads, DSP, content optimisation and peak trading events, and know how to hold agencies and partners to account.
- You are highly analytical and insight‑driven, comfortable building dashboards, interrogating performance data, and translating insight into clear actions and test‑and‑learn initiatives.
- You thrive in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environments, bringing energy, ownership and collaboration — hungry to win, humble in how you work, and relentless in raising the bar while staying grounded in values.

Our Interview Process and What You Can Expect
- Application Review: We’ll start by reviewing your CV/application to ensure it’s a good fit for the role.
- Initial Phone Call (circa 15-20 minutes): You’ll have a brief introductory chat with Ellie, our Talent Partner. We’ll discuss your experience, your career aspirations and explore how your values align with ours.
- Video Interview (circa 30 minutes): The next step is a virtual interview with the hiring manager, via Google Meet. This will be an introductory conversation featuring experience‑based and competency‑based questions. It’s also a great time to ask any initial questions you have!
- Interview Task: You’ll receive a task via email which you can prepare at home. This will form part of the discussion for the in‑person interview. This will allow us to get a better understanding of your experience, skills and ways of working.
- In‑Person Interview (60-90 minutes): The final stage is an in‑person interview at our Lewes office. You’ll meet with the hiring manager and one other team member and present your interview task and answer competency questions. This is also your opportunity to ask us any remaining questions.
