The Role
As a key member of our Fulfilment Supervisor team, you will report directly to the Unit Manager and play a crucial role in leading and supporting our Fulfilment Assistants. These team members are responsible for packing and preparing orders for our growing customer base. This full-time role is 40 hours per week, with a shift pattern to be agreed in advance and may include Saturday shifts.
Reporting to the Warehouse/Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Leading a team of Fulfilment Assistants, including providing support, addressing queries, and ensuring targets are met.
- Line management responsibility for allocated Fulfilment Assistants, including absence management, probationary reviews, performance reviews, and handling disciplinary matters with the support of the People Team and Unit/Warehouse Manager.
- Overseeing accurate and timely picking and packing of customer orders to meet daily dispatch targets.
- Using our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to process orders (training provided).
- Assisting the Warehouse/Unit Manager in the smooth running of all fulfilment operations, solving or escalating issues in a timely manner.
- Assisting with ad hoc projects as required.
- Coordinating with courier services to ensure timely collections and deliveries.
- Identifying, suggesting and implementing opportunities to improve efficiency and workflow.
- Performing regular quality checks on products to uphold high standards.
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.

- Proven experience in a fulfilment or warehouse environment, ideally in a supervisory or team leadership position.

- A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
