About Us

Ancient + Brave is a mission-driven wellness brand, founded in 2018 by Kate Prince who saw a gap in the market for sustainable products which support women’s health and wellness. From the start, Kate wanted the company to be unique, creating innovative formulas with targeted health benefits. The elements of daily ritual and ancestral health are integral to the brand. As a B-Corp, Ancient + Brave meets the highest standards of social and environmental impact.

THE ROLE

We are looking for two part-time (or one full-time) Assembly Assistant(s) to join our Unit team in an inviting and friendly Warehouse situated in East Sussex. Working as part of a dynamic team, this role will be responsible for labelling and packaging products and would suit someone who has worked in a factory on an assembly line or has some experience in roles such as Production Operative or Factory Operative. The nature of the role will require strong attention to detail, moving at a fast pace and a strong team player ethos. Due to the rural location, your own transport is required. Reporting to (and supported by) our Fulfilment Manager, you will form an integral part of the fun-loving and hardworking team, fulfilling orders for our growing customer base.

YOU WILL

  • Assemble, pick and pack customer orders to despatch daily - specifically, the focus will be on assembling our merchandise and discovery boxes.
  • Labelling and packaging by hand and machine.
  • Loading and unloading required products.
  • Support the Fulfilment team in other aspects of fulfilment.
  • Suggest and support operational efficiencies.
  • Work as part of a growing team.
  • Carry out quality checks on all products.

Who You Are

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills / knowledge / experience:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrable organisational skills.
  • Experience working in a warehouse, assembly line, fulfilment or similar.
  • Ability to work fast and with exceptional efficiency.

Further, to truly thrive at Ancient + Brave you will need to embody the spirit of our brand and align with our company culture:

  • Highly self-motivated with an ability to take initiative.
  • Solution-focused with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Known for having tonnes of energy, a positive outlook and a growth mindset.
  • A collaborative team player who also excels in independent settings.
  • Exceptional communicator, able to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Able and willing to work in a fast-paced scale-up environment - an ability to effectively prioritise will be key.
  • Passionate about doing greater good and the future we’re building - we expect our team to be supporting our B-Corp and ESG goals while being proactive and mindful in suggesting ideas for the business to improve its practices.
