THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Amazon Manager to lead and grow our presence on Amazon, with a particular focus on the US markets. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, third-party marketplace operations, and a proven track record of managing and scaling Amazon performance in a competitive landscape.

You will be responsible for all aspects of Amazon channel management, including strategic planning, advertising and promotional performance, product listings, and cross-functional coordination. You will play a key role in leveraging Amazon as a central pillar within a broader omnichannel marketing and sales ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage day-to-day operations of Amazon Seller Central for USA markets.
  • Ensure compliance with Amazon policies, manage account health, and resolve operational issues.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to expand product assortment and launch new products.
  • Manage inventory levels for Amazon, ensuring we maintain buy box and prime position and regularly question our assortment, driving a broad assortment and removing the tail of our range.

Amazon Account Management

  • Plan, execute, and optimize Amazon advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, demand-side platform, etc.) alongside our dedicated agency to drive traffic, sales, and profitability.
  • Manage budgets, track performance, and continuously improve ROI through data-driven optimization.
  • Develop and implement strategies for keyword bidding, audience targeting, and creative testing alongside our agency, challenging to outperform run rate and improve profitability month to month.
  • Liaise between our agency and the internal marketing department to optimize our assets and ensure they are performing on the platform.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze KPIs (key performance indicators) including sales performance, conversion rates, TACoS (Total Advertising Cost of Sale)/ACoS (Average Advertising Cost of Sale), and ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) to identify trends and insights.
  • Leverage insights to inform marketing strategy, campaign planning, and cross-channel investments.

Content & Conversion Optimization

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize product listings, images, A+ content, and brand stores.
  • Ensure SEO best practices are implemented to maximize discoverability and conversion.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmark listings to maintain a best-in-class presence.

Strategic Integration & Collaboration

  • Align Amazon strategy with overall business goals and broader e-commerce marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., content, logistics, supply chain, finance) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Stay current on Amazon platform updates, advertising innovations, and industry trends to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Establish a solid relationship with Amazon directly, learning about their trends, developments, and leveraging the dynamic to A+B’s benefits.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience working for and/or managing Amazon Business, ideally in 3P, with an understanding of Amazon Seller Central. This can be brand or agency side. Relevant in Amazon experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon’s advertising ecosystem and performance marketing best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing ad spend and driving high ROI on Amazon campaigns.
  • Familiarity with spend attribution methodologies across platforms (e.g., Amazon Ads, Google, Meta) and how Amazon fits within the broader e-commerce funnel.
  • Proven success scaling Amazon sales in the USA.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Amazon Ads Console, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar platforms is a plus.
