Full-time, 12-month fixed-term maternity cover, potential ongoing role

Help shape Anchorpoint’s furniture service.

Anchorpoint brings consultancy, design, build and furniture together to create workplaces that support people and businesses. We work across Edinburgh, Sheffield, London and Dublin.

Alongside our design-and-build projects, we want to develop a furniture service for businesses seeking expert advice, specification, sourcing, ordering and installation support.

You will manage furniture projects from brief to aftercare and help develop this wider service, working with our Sales, Design, Project and Finance teams.

What you’ll own

  • Lead client briefs and translate workplace, design and budget needs into practical furniture solutions.
  • Work with designers on layouts, product selection, finishes, samples and client approvals.
  • Help develop the external service and progress proposals, tenders and partner opportunities with the MD and Sales team.
  • Prepare schedules, cost plans and quotations; negotiate supplier terms and protect quality and margin.
  • Manage orders, lead times, changes, logistics, installation, handover and aftercare.
  • Build reliable supplier and installer relationships, including reuse and sustainable-furniture options.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in commercial workplace furniture, FF&E, office fit-out or a related project-furniture role.
  • Confident client consultancy and relationship skills, with evidence of commercial or account growth.
  • Knowledge of furniture systems, specification, ergonomics, DSE and the supply market.
  • Experience of pricing, purchasing, supplier negotiation and end-to-end project delivery.
  • The organisation and attention to detail to manage several projects and keep clients informed.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client, supplier and project sites.

Why Anchorpoint?

You will have the opportunity to develop a furniture service with experienced design, sales and delivery colleagues. We value listening, collaboration, keeping our word and the confidence to act on good ideas.

The package includes company benefits and professional development; full details will be confirmed during recruitment.

Full-time, 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. A permanent opportunity may arise but is not guaranteed. Regular UK travel is required. We welcome applications from different backgrounds and will provide reasonable adjustments throughout recruitment.
