The Tax Information Reporting Manager will be an integral part of the Coinbase tax team supporting the day-to-day operations of the global tax information reporting and withholding function. This role will primarily focus on domestic and international tax reporting and withholding, collaborating across Coinbase’s compliance efforts. The candidate will work closely with product, platform, and data teams, and help drive process improvements. The Coinbase tax team ensures full compliance with tax obligations across jurisdictions, developing protocols for digital asset transactions. Key responsibilities include: Implementing a global crypto asset reporting framework across multiple jurisdictions. Maintaining the tax calendar and ensuring timely submission of reports and payments. Collaborating with product, engineering, and analytics teams on data requirements. Working with customer support on education and support initiatives. Monitoring global tax developments impacting Coinbase. Identifying and leading process improvements. Coordinating across departments including product, data, onboarding, and international teams. Qualifications include: 7+ years of experience in tax information reporting, preferably in banking or finance. Strong technical knowledge in tax reporting. Basic SQL skills. Experience managing high volumes of tax certifications, especially related to CRS/FATCA. Proficiency with tax reporting tools. Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences. Attention to detail and process orientation. Collaborative mindset and adaptability. Nice to have: Experience with Snowflake, Looker, or similar tools. Audit and examination experience. Government agency experience (IRS, Treasury, OECD). Big 4 consulting background.
