About Glenvale Park

You’ll be based at Glenvale Park Care Home, a modern residential care home set within beautifully landscaped gardens in the market town of Wellingborough. The home is conveniently located with easy access to the A45 and A509, making commuting from surrounding areas simple. Wellingborough train station is also close by, providing direct links to London and other major towns, alongside regular local bus services. The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant to lead and support a small team, ensuring excellent standards of care are consistently delivered and maintained. You will also oversee the smooth day-to-day running of a designated floor during each shift. As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include administering and managing medication, reviewing and updating care plans, mentoring junior team members, and carrying out return-to-work meetings and staff supervisions. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where resident wellbeing will always come first. Hours of Work

Shifts are from 8:00pm to 8:00am, worked on a permanent rolling rota of three shifts on followed by three shifts off. This equates to an average working week of 42 hours.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should hold, or be working towards, a Level 2 Diploma/NVQ in Health & Social Care, demonstrating both commitment and passion for delivering outstanding care. You should enjoy working as part of a dynamic team and be confident in ensuring the home consistently meets all required standards, policies, and procedures while acting as the senior team member on shift. Please note: applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
