As part of an exciting period of transformation, we are evolving our Change team and creating a number of new opportunities across the function. Our refreshed structure will bring clearer ownership, stronger collaboration and better decision-making, enabling us to deliver change more effectively for our customers and colleagues.

This is a great time to join as a Business Design Partner, playing a critical role in shaping major programmes and helping define how future services and operating models work across Anchor. Working closely with Directors, Executive Sponsors and senior stakeholders, you will lead discovery, define outcomes and design future-state services that are strategically aligned, operationally viable and focused on better outcomes for residents and colleagues.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead strategic discovery and early-stage shaping across major programmes and directorates
  • Design future-state service, process and operating models aligned to the Target Operating Model
  • Partner with Directors and Sponsors to define scope, priorities, value and delivery options
  • Facilitate workshops and translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria; and review solution designs to align
  • Provide senior design assurance across governance forums to improve decision quality
  • Promote integration and reuse of design assets across programmes to support joined-up change

What you will bring:

  • Significant experience in business design, business analysis, service design and/or operating model design
  • Proven ability to influence Directors and Executive-level stakeholders
  • Strong expertise in strategic analysis, journey mapping and conceptual modelling
  • Experience providing constructive challenge and assurance within governance settings
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable:

  • Experience in care, housing, health, local government or similar regulated sectors (this role will primarily be aligned to Care, so applicants with a care background will be prioritised)
  • Knowledge of digital platforms, data flows and enterprise-wide service change
  • Experience contributing to business cases, benefits definition and value articulation
  • Qualifications such as BCS BA, IIBA, TOGAF, service design or UX certifications
  • Familiarity with tools such as Lucid, Visio or Azure DevOps
