30 hours per week. Hatton Grange in Hyde is a modern, purpose-built Anchor care home offering residential and dementia care in a warm, elegant setting. It’s designed to feel welcoming and homely, with excellent facilities and a strong reputation for quality care.

As a Handyperson, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping our home running smoothly. Your skills will ensure that residents live in a safe, well-maintained environment, and your work will directly contribute to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes our home special.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance across the home.
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Support with decorating, minor refurbishments, and keeping the home looking its best.
  • Respond quickly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
  • Help create a safe, comfortable, and attractive environment for residents, families, and colleagues.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Practical skills in maintenance, repairs, and general DIY.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with attention to detail.
  • Reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to high standards.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
