We’re looking for a Lead Investment Analyst to provide expert financial appraisal of development opportunities. This senior role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical skills with the confidence to influence decisions at the highest level.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assess the financial viability of complex development schemes, producing accurate, evidence-based business cases.
- Build, stress-test, and interpret detailed financial models at both project and programme levels.
- Review completed investments to identify risks, lessons learned, and future opportunities.
- Partner with colleagues to ensure financial assessments align with wider development and business strategies.
- Provide clear assurance to senior leaders, including Executive and Board members, on the performance and sustainability of the development programme.

What we’re looking for:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong housing development finance experience — ideally gained in a housing association or similar organisation.
- Strong knowledge of viability modelling tools such as ProVal, Pamwin, or similar systems.
- Proven expertise in investment appraisal, development viability, and financial modelling.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills – able to translate complex financial information for non-finance audiences.
- A proactive approach, with the confidence to work independently and influence decisions at a senior level.
