As part of an exciting period of growth and transformation, we are looking for an experienced IT Contracts and Vendor Manager to join our Technology team. This is a key role responsible for managing supplier performance, contract governance and service quality across our IT supplier landscape. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure services remain reliable, secure and deliver value to the organisation.

You will play an important Service Delivery Manager role in driving operational stability, managing supplier relationships and supporting continuous improvement across a broad range of technology services.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage operational relationships with IT suppliers and service partners at various aspects of the service life cycle, from service delivery and transition through to exit.
  • Lead supplier governance, service reviews and performance management activities.
  • Ensure suppliers meet contractual commitments, SLAs and operational standards in accordance with our supplier service management framework.
  • Monitor service risks, compliance, continuity and rehearsal requirements across supplier services.
  • Work closely with our Procurement team, Service Operations and wider Technology teams to support contract management and service delivery.
  • Produce supplier reporting, scorecards and performance insights to support technology strategy and decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement across supplier services and operational processes.

What you will bring:

  • Comprehensive experience managing IT suppliers, contracts or service delivery within a large/complex organisation.
  • Strong understanding of supplier governance, service reviews and performance management.
  • Knowledge of ITIL-aligned service management practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working across multiple suppliers and technology services.
  • Strong influencer.

Desirable:

  • ITIL certifications.
  • Knowledge of Procurement Frameworks and regulations, particularly public sector, and tendering processes.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms.
  • Commercial, procurement or supplier management qualifications.
