Overview
We are looking for a reliable, compassionate Bank Housekeeper to join our dementia care home team. As part of our bank (as‑needed) staff, you will provide essential support to ensure our residents live in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. This role is ideal for someone who values meaningful work, enjoys creating a homely atmosphere, and can adapt to the changing needs of a care setting.
Responsibilities
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard
- Manage laundry, including washing, drying, and returning items
- Work respectfully around residents and support a calm, homely atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with the care team and report any concern
What We’re Looking For
- Housekeeping or cleaning experience
- Kindness, patience, and an understanding of dementia (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to cover shifts as needed
