Care Assistant - Weekends
26 hours per week, 2 shifts per week, Saturday and Sunday, 7 am - 9 pm.
Please note public transport comes once every hour on weekends.
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Weekend Care Assistant to join our dementia care home team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing while promoting dignity, independence, and choice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Support residents with eating, drinking, and mobility needs.
- Build positive relationships and provide companionship.
- Encourage participation in activities and social engagement.
- Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any concerns to senior staff.
- Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
