We’re recruiting Project Managers to deliver high-quality investment projects that improve the safety, comfort and sustainability of our homes. This is a role with real purpose where your work directly enhances the lives of older people across the country.
About the Role
You’ll manage planned investment projects from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. Working closely with colleagues, contractors and suppliers, you’ll coordinate programmes that meet regulatory requirements, strengthen governance and deliver great outcomes for residents.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver planned investment projects to agreed cost, time and quality standards across care, rented and homeownership portfolios.
- Manage supply chain partners and drive strong contractor performance.
- Develop briefs and turn them into deliverable work packages that meet statutory requirements including planning approvals, listed building consent and Building Regulations.
- Ensure compliance with CDM, Decent Homes, HHSRS and Building Safety requirements.
- Oversee budgets, valuations and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and governance controls.
- Promote inclusive, ethical and customer-focused practice.
- Identify risks early, escalate concerns and challenge underperformance.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience delivering construction or maintenance projects in housing or property organisations.
- Strong project management, contract administration and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience of delivering projects that fall under the requirements of Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act.
- Knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts, procurement routes and dispute resolution.
- Understanding of CDM 2015, H&S requirements and building safety legislation.
- Ability to analyse data, manage budgets and make sound decisions.
- HNC in Construction (or equivalent); MCIOB/MRICS desirable.
- SSSTS/SMSTS/IOSH (or willingness to achieve).
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
